The Secret to Getting Out of Debt

September 25th, 2009

If you’re willing to hang in there and find the answer to getting out of debt, let’s take a closer look. Ask yourself if these are any of your burdens:

  • Thoughts of your debt are negatively affecting every part of your life: your work, your family, your marriage, your sleep, your picture of the future…
  • You’ve made sacrifices wherever you can, but it’s not enough. You still cannot live on what you make
  • Your burden is so overwhelming, you don’t know where to start
  • Your job is never going to pay you enough to live the way you want, let alone pay off your debt
  • Your circumstances will not improve by getting a second or a third job
  • You’ve resigned yourself to believing that expensive debt is just a part of life

If you tell yourself any of those things, that’s acceptance. You might as well file for bankruptcy now. I know a good lawyer…

A GROUND-BREAKING NEW DEBT ELIMINATION SYSTEM

Our company now offers a debt elimination program like those used by professional financial advisors. It has two elements: debt elimination software and debt education tools.

You start by loading the system onto your computer and enter your personal information. Then, start using the program immediately.

The debt elimination software program works like this:

  • Enter up to 50 debts (balances, payments, interest rates and minimum payments) into an individual plan.
  • Select which debts to pay off first or let the software create a “payoff plan” for you.
  • Budget your monthly expenses and apply the surplus to your debt pay off plan.
  • Dial in different “what if” scenarios. See for yourself how paying even small amounts over the minimum due on your credit cards or mortgage each month would shave both time and huge interest costs off those debts.
  • Evaluate how debt consolidation might accelerate your debt elimination plan.

For all of us, seeing is believing. Wouldn’t it be marvelous to see a target debt-free date right in front of your eyes? Let the debt elimination program show you how to reach your goals. No more guess work, no more blindly paying your bills and hoping one day to be out of debt.

The next tool is the debt education system. The debt education system includes web based training including:

  • Interactive financial education classes that teach “money smarts”
  • Courses conducted on line
  • On line learning materials
  • Classes on your schedule
  • Online access to instructors and counselor

The ultimate goal of the debt education university is to provide the knowledge (and motivation) for members to change their beliefs about elimination of debt and turn them into practices for building wealth.

Alright, you like the program and you definitely need to do the work. But you might also be saying to yourself, “This sounds great, but I don’t make enough money to pay my bills each month let alone figure out how I’d spend any extra to pay down my debt.”

How about this?

GET PAID TO ELIMINATE YOUR DEBT
(We aren’t kidding.)

Imagine that you’ve taken the first step to eliminating your debt. You are ready to take action. You’re going to purchase your debt elimination system.

You now have the ability to make money.

That’s right. You own a money-making business.

How does this work? It’s as simple as showing your debt elimination system to two or more friends, colleagues or customers who also need a debt elimination plan. Help them do the same, and you earn back twice the cost of your program. That’s it.

Well, there is more:

  • By doing that work and maintaining your monthly web site access, you also qualify to earn income each month when your team continues to use the service.
  • Your monthly membership fee is 100% reimbursed for submitting grocery and gas receipts for rebate. The company makes your membership free!
  • If you are willing to do a small amount of work, you can benefit from the efforts of the whole company. Everyone’s work benefits everyone else. You will not be alone in your battle or your earnings.

Two Ends

May 2nd, 2009

Nature gave men two ends - one to sit on and one to think with. Ever since then man’s success or failure has been dependent on the one he used most.
George R. Kirkpatrick

Which end is guiding you these days?

easter5

Is this your life?

Are you holed up in your house that might be repossessed by the bank?
Are you warming up to the idea of moving back in with your parents?
Are you hoping and waiting for Uncle Sam (or Cousin Bob) to give you a decent paying job?
Are you telling yourself that you CAN live on that unemployment check?
Are you resigned to the fact that you have to cash in your 401(k)?

These are what guru and revolutionary instigator Randy Gage calls mind viruses. If this is what you’re wallowing in, you’re listening to the end you sit on.

Or this?

Are you writing down at least 101 dreams you will make come true?
Are you considering your all your options?
Are you asking the most successful people you have ever known for guidance and advice?
Are you looking to your closest friends (or even just one) for support and compassion?
Are you open to prosperity?
Are you taking action?

If you’ve kept your mind healthy and positive, congratulations! Keep thinking with this end, and it will give you the strength to persevere no matter how tough things get. Work hard at staying optimistic, taking action and believing in your dreams.

Won’t it be amazing when it all works the way you planned? Keep that picture embedded in the right end.

Life is Like a Picture Puzzle

April 29th, 2009

Ever have trouble getting started or keeping your focus? This is a story by the world-renowned author and motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar. You will undoubtedly relate to it.

“All of us occasionally have trouble getting started and making plans. To set things in perspective, how many of you have ever tried to work a picture puzzle without the picture to model? Utter confusion results. If you have the picture, you have a game plan. Without the picture, you get frustrated and give up.”

Life is pretty much that way. Unless you’ve got a picture of where you want to go, you get discouraged and confused. You have no specific direction. As a result, you do not reach your potential and accomplish your objectives.

Here are two reasons why you need to have the picture of where you want to go.

First, you’ve got to plan your time, or somebody else is going to take your time. How many of you have already noticed that people with nothing to do, want to do it with you?

Second, when you have that picture of where you want to go, you can begin planning, which is bringing the future into the present so you can do something about it now.”

Let’s personalize Zig Ziglar’s “picture” concept with the recent phenomenon known as Susan Boyle.

susan-boyle

In one week Susan has taken over the on line video world and has the admiration of millions.

Susan walked out on that stage in front of a huge audience as well as one of the most intimidating entertainment judges of our time. She answered his questions and everyone laughed at her. The camera also caught a picture of one young girl rolling her eyes. Susan paid no attention to any of the disdain.

Susan is an average middle aged woman who admitted to never having been kissed. She showed her smart-aleck side during the judges’ questioning. The audience was once again cruelly insensitive when she said she wanted to be like one of Britain’s most talented singers.

You may have been laughing too.

The minute Susan opened her mouth she made an amazing transformation. Her presentation was all the more remarkable because of our expectation. The second she started singing, she transformed herself into a beautiful and passionate performer. The song she chose was very complex and showed the incredible range of her voice. The audience immediately forgot about her looks and her lack of egotism and saw her passion.

Susan’s delivery was full of power, conviction, eloquence, talent and skill. It was one of the most delightful, encouraging, and amazing experiences of our lives.

Even before she finished singing the first line, the audience was on their feet and fervently cheering.

We will be talking about this experience for the rest of our lives. In our superficial world, Susan unintentionally taught us a great lesson.

Pictures and plans don’t have to be huge or earthshaking to warrant your interest and time. They just have to be something you truly want to pursue. Susan practiced her entire life to refine her voice and that passion for singing. She is now getting accolades and attention beyond her wildest dreams. Our world is a more thoughtful place because of her.

Put yourself in Susan’s shoes. Regardless of your dream, if you picture it, plan it, and work long and hard at it, you too can make it happen.

Thank you Susan Boyle.

The Duplication Dance Explained

April 28th, 2009

We hear it time and again. The recipe for success with your network marketing business is duplication.

This little concept is also known as “sponsoring a large group of people to do a few things over a consistent period of time”.

You do what your leaders tell you. You follow the company party line. You work your business every day. You network. You look for the “right” people.

Alas, prospects aren’t returning your phone calls, and most of those you DO sponsor aren’t working.

IT’S not working!

Here’s the rub: Many marketing tools work. Most do not duplicate.

MLM has been around for more than 60 years. It has always had a bad rap. Most of it’s well-deserved. But the industry has come to its senses at last. Since you’re out here doing your research, you know that MLM is entering the business mainstream in a very powerful way.

For the sake of argument, let’s say network marketing companies ARE more accepted. More of you are looking for the right company, and there are more of the “right” companies for you to find.

Here is the statistic that continues to strike fear in the hearts of those considering this business:

95% of people who start an MLM business will quit.
Regardless of the techniques, strategies and the hard core “even a 5 year old can do this” trainings, only 5% are cut out for this business.

Why then are distributor drop-out rates and success ratios the same as they have been for the past 60 years?

There are millions of excuses for why it does not work for people, and only one reason why it will work.

The big secret?: Personal development. Your success in life and in business lies in making continuous and committed actions towards the person you want to become.

It all comes down to who you ARE, what you THINK and what you DO with that knowledge.

It’s hard. It’s time consuming. It can even be painful. Only 5% of the population takes the initiative to do this self-improvement.

See the connection?

Regardless of the sales and marketing techniques, goal setting and numbers games that you play, personal development will give you the power to succeed in this business.

Success in MLM is simple and often flat out easy. Here’s the secret formula:

  • Take an honest look at yourself
  • Make changes
  • Master your thoughts
  • Become a better person
  • Believe in yourself
  • Become a leader

What’s so hard to duplicate? You’ll be making yourself a better and happier person in the process.

The World Will Never Be the Same

April 23rd, 2009

A wake up call from network marketing revolutionary and MLM expert, Randy Gage:

“Here’s one thing I do know:

The world will never be the same. And the economy will never be
the same. Millions of the jobs eliminated recently are not coming
back. And all these billions of dollars, Euros and pounds of
government bailouts are just delaying the inevitable, spending our
children’s future.

The world has never needed help more, and network marketing will be
the lifeline for many people. Now more than ever, we must reach
out to help those facing devastation. Our profession is the last
true bastion of real free enterprise, where people can still build
their dreams and create financial freedom.

pot-of-gold

We have to be the change we wish to create. We have to be the
revolution. The old economic model is broken. And we have the
answer. So get out there and shout it from the rooftops!”

We sincerely hope you are starting to get it…

Making Yourself Memorable

April 22nd, 2009

Ok. You’re out there networking. You’re asking lots of questions, not focusing on you, not dominating the conversation and not peddling your business.

You ask typical questions like:

  • What do you do?
  • How’s business?
  • Do you do a lot of networking?
  • Are you a ______ native?
  • Can I have one of your business cards?
  • I’d like to see if I can help you. How about we get together and meet for coffee?

Sure. You may be getting them to answer your questions on the spot. You may even have that follow up coffee. But how often do your follow up calls go unreturned? Unless you’re Tiger Woods or Michelle Obama I’ll bet you get stood up pretty often.

yawning

How about making yourself more memorable with unusual questions? Here are a few ideas:

  • How will you earn your 15 minutes of fame?
  • If you could do anything, what would it be?
  • What talent would you like to have more than anything?
  • What’s the most boring thing you can imagine doing?
  • How do you measure success in life?
  • Would you rather play more or accomplish more?
  • How many times have you changed careers?
  • As a teenager what were your part time jobs?
  • In your spare time, what’s your favorite thing to do?
  • What was the craziest thing you ever did when you were a kid?
  • Who has really changed your life?
  • What volunteer work do you do?
  • What makes someone memorable to you?

Also, most questions should not have more than a “yes” or “no” answer. It’s a conversation, not an interrogation!

I’ll bet you can get the majority of people talking with some of those, huh? I’ll also bet your audience will think you’re different. And, I’ll bet you’ll get some of those questions asked of you!

Remember to work these into the conversation. Don’t just walk up to them and say “Hi. I’m Gary. What’s your name? What do you do? When you were a kid, did your parents consider you well-behaved or badly-behaved?”

Ask the first three. Listen to their answers. Get them comfortable with you. Show interest.

If they say they spend too much time at work. Ask something like “Of all the accomplishments in your career, which one are you most proud of?”

Use some humor. How about “What’s the worst pick up line you’ve ever used?”

If they say they’re new to the networking scene, try “What do you like the least about meeting new people?”

Build a relationship, and keep asking. They’ll keep talking.

You will stand out from the crowd and learn some interesting stuff in the process.

It’s a Great Time to Lose Your Job!

April 14th, 2009

Think that’s CRAZY? The brave among you will read on…

There is no better time for a big kick in the pants. Here are some numbers that ought to scare the crap out of you:

  • 2,600,000 people lost their jobs in 2008
  • 2,000,000 more jobs are predicted to be lost in 2009

Let’s be realistic about the terrible mess we’re in. What if 50% of those unemployed have a stay-at-home spouse? Add another 1,300,000 people who need to take charge of their family’s future.

We’re talking 5,900,000 people in the U.S. alone who need a source of income!

We won’t even mention sole proprietors whose business has dried up. How many millions would that add to the mix?

shoulder-world

Let’s say 75% of the job losers sit around and wait for their government bailout money or hope that Corporate America will hire them back. That leaves 1,475,000 smart and proactive people starting their own businesses.

Your options? You’re crazy if you think setting up a storefront or franchise is your answer. Got $10,000 to $500,000 to spend on THAT?

Think you’re going to get a small business loan? Have you heard? BANKS AREN’T LENDING their bailout money (our tax dollars)!

See where we are going? How long are you going to put it off? I’m talking about starting a home business.

  • It’s cheap.
  • The best MLMs require zero inventory
  • You work from home and can lower your taxes for every dollar you spend on your business.
  • You and your business can help a few (or many) of the other 1,474,999 people make income from their own businesses, too.

Make up your mind. Find the right company for you.
Do your homework and get started.
NOW!

If you’ve made the investment and commitment already, get to work!

Here’s a very successful new MLM company to consider: www.unlimited-referrals.com.
(We respect your privacy. Your information will not be shared.)

Building a successful business takes time. If you wait any longer, you’ll probably be desperate to make it happen once you do decide to step up. Need any more stress?

needle-haystack

Capitalizing on bad news is rarely a good idea, but it also prompts many into action.

Share those frightening job loss statistics with your family and friends. Show them to traditional business owners and employees at your old company, especially the bosses. They’re in trouble too.

Find the smart ones. Partner up! Motivate and support each other. Doesn’t that sound like a lot more fun than waiting for a handout?

Small businesses will lead us out of this awful recession. Be a leader. Step up and help yourself, your family and others in your situation. Get to work!

You can’t afford to wait!

Rare and Wonderful

April 11th, 2009

motherteresaRemember when movies used to hail the phrase “your word is your bond”? There was a time when we all accepted that we were responsible for keeping our commitments. They were made with a lot of careful thought, and keeping them was very important.

We have incredible examples of people whose very existence provide us all with the inspiration to live a life of integrity. People like Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa and Mahatma Gandhi.

gandhi-mandela

These are exceptional examples, but think about it, aren’t there a few people who will always keep their word to you? I’ll bet you feel wonderful being around them and fortunate to have them in your life.

It’s a shame. Integrity has become all too rare in our world. Most people who make commitments know that they aren’t going to keep many of them, particularly if they don’t see what’s in it for them. It’s very apparent how casually we give our word, and then how casually it’s broken.

Are you one of them?

Jack Canfield in his book, “The Success Principles”, describes the seriousness of this lack of integrity. There is a great psychological cost in not keeping your word.

“When you don’t keep your agreements, you pay both external and internal costs. You lose trust, respect, and credibility with others – your family, your friends, your colleagues and your customers… whether it’s showing up on time, or getting a report done when you said you would…”

Canfield also points out that when you consistently don’t follow through on your promises, those around begin to doubt your word. They realize they can’t count on you. You lose authority with them. Your relationships deteriorate.

Every agreement you make is ultimately with yourself. The impact is a loss of self-esteem, self-confidence and self-respect. You weaken your own sense of integrity. To feel otherwise is arrogance.

Think about how you feel when others do this to you.

Having the respect and trust of others is critical to accomplishing anything big and important in your life. Here’s another little one for you to think about. Is integrity important to success with your business?

Some food for thought on keeping more of your agreements:
1. Make only agreements you intend to keep. Make sure you want to keep them.
2. Write down all the agreements you make. Take away the excuses for forgetting them.
3. Clear up any broken agreements as soon as possible. Show respect for the other person’s time and their needs.
4. Don’t feel pressured to say yes. Have respect for the other person. If you really don’t think you’ll be making good use of your time, don’t waste theirs.

Even if integrity is sadly missing or rare all around you, let it start with you.

dunce-questionmark

As Gandhi is very well known for saying:
“We must be the change we wish to see in the world.”
